"You know from the opening shot of a garbage truck running over a snow globe that this isn't going to be your average, everyday Christmas movie." - The Blood Pit of Horror

"I wonder if even writer/director René Manzor knew exactly what he was going for in this film, alternating between a pre-teen DIE HARD send-up and a twisted home-invasion horror film." - Video Junkie Strikes Back from Beyond the Grave

On a snowy Christmas Eve, a boy is forced to deal with a dangerous intruder dressed as Santa that has broken into his home. The boy has to use his wits, weapons and clever traps to survive the night.

Except, this time it's not fun and head bonking games, because the Santa is a psychotic killer out for blood and the boy's weapons of a choice are a shotgun and hand grenades.

GAME OVER is the film HOME ALONE has nightmares about.

Painted with the moody color scheme of an Italian horror film and shot with the grace of a Terry Gilliam picture that's dripping with the intensity of a Texas Chainsaw Massacre, GAME OVER is a one of a kind slice of Yuletide Terror that was unfairly buried in the snow for decades.

We at The Laser Blast Film Society are proud to dig it out of its frozen grave, wrap it up in blood stained wrapping, and slide it under the booby trapped tree for your viewing pleasure.

Just don't bring the kiddies. They'll be traumatized for life when they see that this Santa has a knife.

The Laser Blast Film Society is made possible in part by the funding support from the Ontario Arts Council, an agency of the Government of Ontario.
